I'm Alissa C., the breeder behind Cedar Creek Doxies located in Cabool, MO. After stepping away from breeding for several years,life brought new experiences and blessings. During this time I focused on raising my family, and embracing all that life had to offer. Now, with my daughters by my side, we are beginning this next chapter together—stronger, and more passionate than ever.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I started breeding dachshunds in my early 20s. I bought my first sweetheart for 50 dollars and kept a puppy from her first litter. From there a bought a male and started my breeding program. Over the years my two girls produced 3 litters 8 puppies a piece and tons of fun and love along the way. I retired both of my females and let them be my babies for the remainder of their lives.

  • What makes your program special?

    My puppies are raised in our home being cared for by our whole family and being loved on by everyone and that’s a special experience.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Alissa

Alissa has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Alissa partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

Price

Puppy prices include a $350 non-refundable deposit and between $1,550 - $2,150 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price include AKC registration 3,5,7 worming 4,6,8 vaccines and puppy starter kit. Puppy will come with AKC registration 2 rounds of immunization and deworming and socialization and a puppy starter kit ex. Food we have them on a blanket and toy to make them feel comfortable.”

Contract & health guarantee

Alissa may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
