Meet the breeder

I'm Jana K., the breeder behind Yukon Harbor Doodles located in Port Orchard, WA. We offer puppies born from loved and health-tested parents, raised the Badass Breeder way, through an empowering daily curriculum. Our dogs are health tested via Embark. They live in our home and are loved alongside our children. Studs are chosen based on temperament, health testing, and also being beloved family members.

Q. & A. with Jana

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always been interested in breeding dogs! We recently added a dog to our home after many years without one. The experience was seamless and extremely rewarding. I really wanted to help others experience this joy! Adding a puppy to your home can be a wonderful and simple process. It needn't disrupt everything and come with the dreaded "puppy phase".
  • What makes your program special?

I've had the opportunity to work with a mentor who has taught me so much! I've added several Doodles to my home, which are loved like my children. My hope is to help fold a curriculum-raised puppy (from health and temperament-tested parents) seamlessly into your family life. By being a continued resource, and by setting you and the puppy up for success starting day 1.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies are medium size. Aussiedoodle puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include cream and apricot. Aussiedoodle puppies include black phantom, black and white, and black tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jana

Jana has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Jana partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

“We place puppies after temperament testing, to make the best matches possible. Not based on just color! Once a deposit is made you will be placed on the Litter list in order of payment received. You will be able to pick 1 to 2 of your favorites from the litter, and I will also add my recommendation for who I think best fits your needs. Then we can meet in person or via zoom to discuss and meet the 2-3 puppies and confirm your pick. ”

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $4,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
