At Cedar Ridge Labradors, we raise our puppies in our home with hands-on care, a strong focus on health, temperament, and confidence. Why did you start breeding?
We are lifelong dog lovers who have always shared our lives with Labs. When purchasing our own puppies, we saw a gap we wanted to fill and felt called to do better. We believe a strong start filled with intention and a family-based foundation help keep dogs thriving in their homes and out of shelters.What makes your program special?
We raise our litters the way that I would personally want my own puppy raised. Not only do we focus on thoughtful pairings with health tested parents and impressive pedigrees, but we are equally committed to raising puppies in a true family setting with hands-on care, structure, and early development that prepares them for success in all areas; hunting, service, or companion animal.Where do your breeding dogs live?

About Maggie
Maggie is a female Labrador Retriever. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Brooke decided to make her part of their program. Brooke has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), DNA Disease Panel, Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test, Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
