I'm Emili O., the breeder behind Cedar River Mini Dachshunds located in Ely, IA. Having a dog in our lives is such a blessing. We find so much fulfillment in providing that same companionship to other homes! Our puppies become integral members of our family. They’re a daily part of everything we do until they’re ready to join their forever families.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Several years ago I fell in love with a little doxie in a pet store, and although I was raised with labs and raised golden retrievers, dachshunds quickly became a favorite. WE currently focus on all the shades of cream, specifically in Long hair coats, because I feel like I get the best of both worlds, golden retrievers and Weenies!!!

  • What makes your program special?

    Our first Priority is always health and quality, closely followed by temperament. We take pride in producing healthy, trainable and beautiful puppies that will turn anyone into a Dachshund lover.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include between $1,500 - $5,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
