I'm Emma R., the breeder behind Cedar Rock Retrievers located in Moravian Falls, NC. Cedar Rock Retrievers is a small breeder of English Labrador Retrievers in North Carolina. We focus on health, temperament, and structure while raising puppies that make wonderful family companions, service dogs, and sporting partners. Our puppies are raised in our home with daily socialization, enrichment, and plenty of love. We carefully plan each litter, health test our breeding dogs.

    At Cedar Rock Retrievers, we focus on raising healthy, well-socialized English Labradors with exceptional temperaments. Our puppies are raised in our home using enrichment and ENS protocols, backed by health-tested parents and a commitment to lifelong support for every family who chooses one of our dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Emma

Emma has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Emma partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy. Deposits are applied to the total purchase price. Puppy selections are made in order of deposit received unless otherwise specified by the breeder.”

Contract & health guarantee

Emma may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Vet Wellness Exam
