I'm Adam W., the breeder behind Cedar Swamp Retrievers located in Lamar, SC. We are a family breeder that focuses on our lovely dogs' working ability, conformation, temperament, and health testing. Our dogs are very people-oriented and want to please, which translates to an easier dog to train. Our puppies are raised in our home with lots of love, and we love to share them with families and individuals that share the same love we have for Labrador Retrievers.
Q. & A. with Adam
Why did you start breeding?
We have not ever known life without dogs in it. We wanted to put our passion for Labrador Retrievers to good use. Breeding healthy, happy puppies is our way to give back to the breed and the families who love them. We want nothing more than to see each of our dogs and puppies shine!
What makes your program special?
All of our dogs are our pets as well. We have titled dogs in multiple venues, including hunt tests and field trials, and rally. We have also started showing in conformation. If you are looking for the perfect hunting dog and family companion, look no further. It would be our pleasure to connect you with your next Labrador Retriever puppy!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
