We follow closely the recommended guidelines of the Boykin Spaniel Society and are a I am a Gold Level Preferred Breeder Program member. We want to make the transition from our loving home to yours as seamless as possible by giving personal attention to each little pup to ensure it is well-rounded and prepared to excel in its forever home.
Q. & A. with Suzy
Why did you start breeding?
Reproduction has always been a love of mine. I never tire of witnessing birth, whether it be of a puppy or a calf. Glenn & I followed in his parents footsteps in raising Rat Terriers after we married. Their purpose was to keep down the mice at the barn, but they were also our pets. We met our first Boykin Spaniel during a church camping trip and knew this would be a new breed for us.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are part of our family and daily life. We are diligent about the health of our dogs and the decision we make to breed. It is extremely important to us to follow the guidelines of the Boykin Spaniel Society and to preserve the drive in this wonderful breed. I actually have Boykin blood in my own family tree! We do not ship our puppies, because we want to meet each new family.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include chocolate and liver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Suzie Sheets of Cedarway Boykins is a wonderful breeder. She takes genetic testing seriously and strives to have the best and most healthy liters. We obtained our second Boykin from Cedarway and couldn't be more pleased. He is a beautiful Boykin with a great temperment. So happy and wants to please. Very intelligent and the typical Boykin mischievous personality.
