Audrey B.

Breeder of Shetland Sheepdogs

Meet the breeder

I'm Audrey B., the breeder behind Ceilidh Shelties located in Seymour, IN. All our breeding stock has had all their genetic clearances done and they are posted up on the OFA site. Also hips, thyroid, and eyes have been checked. We capitalize on performance dogs with an emphasis on the soundness of mind and body. I have loved dogs my whole life and feel so lucky to be so involved with this breed.

Q. & A. with Audrey

  • Why did you start breeding?

My first husband was a farmer and we raised all kinds of animals. I wanted to breed German shepherds. I did a few litters back in the 70's and then went to Miniature Poodles and finally Shelties.
  • What makes your program special?

My foundation stock has all genetic testing done and it is up on OFA's website for the world to see. I have the help of two very experienced show breeders mentoring me as well. I also train performance and show my dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
