At 906 Yooper Yorkies, we are a small, in-home breeding program located in Iron Mountain, Michigan, dedicated to raising beautiful, well-tempered Yorkshire Terriers. Our dogs are first and foremost members of our family, and each puppy is raised with hands-on care, love, and attention from day one. We focus on producing healthy, happy puppies with exceptional temperaments and classic Yorkie features. Our program emphasizes quality over quantity, with carefully selected parents chosen for their structure, size, coat, and loving personalities. Many of our puppies fall within the desirable small size range, making them perfect companions for both individuals and families. Our puppies are raised in a home environment where they are exposed to everyday sights, sounds, and interactions to help build confidence and ease their transition into their new homes. We take pride in matching each puppy with the right family, as we believe the perfect fit creates the best lifelong bond.   • Why did you start breeding?

    My love for Yorkshire Terriers began when I was eight years old after visiting a breeder with my cousin. The moment I saw them, I was completely captivated. That feeling stayed with me for years, and as soon as I was on my own, I welcomed my first Yorkie—and knew this breed would always be a part of my life. Today, that lifelong passion has grown into a dedicated breeding program focused on raising exceptional Yorkies. My puppies are raised in my home alongside my three boys, where they receive constant love, early socialization, and individualized attention. I take great care in matching each puppy with the right family, ensuring a perfect fit for both.

  • What makes your program special?

    My puppies are raised right in my home as part of our daily life, alongside my three boys, so they’re incredibly well-socialized from the start. I focus not just on health and structure, but on personality—getting to know each puppy individually so I can match them with the right family. I stay closely connected with my families, provide regular updates, and truly care about where my puppies go. This isn’t just breeding to me—it’s something I take pride in and put my whole heart into.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include parti, blue and gold, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,400 final payment, before taxes & fees.

If you’re using a flight nanny, all travel expenses must be paid upfront to reserve your puppy, and those costs are non-refundable.”
