I'm Elisabeth D., the breeder behind Celtic Brae Australian Shepherds & Havanese located in Whitewater, WI. We are a small family farm located in Fort Atkinson and Whitewater, Wisconsin. We raise, train, show and breed Australian Shepherds & Havanese. Our goal is to raise well socialized, sane and high-quality animals. Any of the animals that are bred at our home are bred with only the improvement of the breed in mind. Each animal is provided with all the love and care available and with its best interest kept in mind.

Q. & A. with Elisabeth

  • Why did you start breeding?

My interest started in college when I had a friend who raised Shih Tzu's. I did my research and landed on the Australian shepherd. Once I got my first dog I was hooked. I adored her and couldn't imagine not sharing that love and adoration with everyone.
  • What makes your program special?

My dogs are fully tested, raised underfoot with kids from day one. Through Puppy Culture and day to day experiences, we make every attempt to start them out right. We strive to keep to the breed standard without sacrificing health or temperament. We want easy to live with dogs that make life enjoyable.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Havanese puppies include black and white and red sable. Australian Shepherd puppies include black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
