Q. & A. with Casey

  • Why did you start breeding?

Longing to own many Aussies, my journey into breeding was motivated by a desire to make a positive impact on the Australian Shepherd breed, all while understanding the importance of responsible breeding practices. Which include maintaining the health and well-being of the dogs while being mindful of costs. This commitment led me to establish Centerfire Mini Aussies, where we prioritize the health and genetics of our dogs without compromising on quality or breaking the bank. It's about finding that balance between responsible breeding and financial feasibility, all in the name of preserving the breed we love.
  • What makes your program special?

What truly sets our program at Centerfire Mini Aussies apart is our unwavering dedication to breeding Australian Shepherds with the most delightful personalities and clear genetic panels. We go beyond the ordinary by offering lifetime breeder support, ensuring our puppies and their new families receive guidance and assistance whenever needed. But it doesn't stop there. Our family-run breeding program, located in Inez, TX, is all about love and care. Our puppies are raised in a warm, nurturing environment, receiving love and attention from the moment they're born until they find their forever homes. It's this passion for these amazing pups that drives us to provide them with the best possible start in life. At Centerfire Mini Aussies, we're not just breeders; we're dog lovers, committed to bringing joy to both our puppies and their future families. That's what makes our program truly special.
