Due Apr. 2026
I'm Margaret F., the breeder behind Central Montana Gun Dogs located in Big Sandy, MT. Our labs work, play, and nap beside us throughout the day; and sleep in our bedrooms at night. They are the ultimate companions. We select our lines carefully to produce healthy, versatile labradors that will excel at home, in the field, in the show ring, and as service or therapy prospects.

Margaret has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Margaret partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.
“We take great care in placing each puppy with the right family. We begin evaluating our puppies for temperament and personality from the day they are born, but they really start to shine around 4-6 weeks. Our communication is open and honest, we are happy to share photos, videos, face-time, etc. as we watch this litter mature. Priority selection goes to puppies being placed in working (service/hunting) homes, and then in order of deposits received. Together we (breeder and buyer) will select the perfect puppy for you and your family.”

“Our price includes AKC registration paperwork, initial vaccinations, deworming, vet check, and microchip. Contract and Health Guarantee are included. *See below for more info . All of our puppies are sold on limited AKC registration. Deposits are non-refundable, so please be sure your timing and level of commitment are sure before you place your deposit.”
Margaret may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Margaret offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Margaret directly.
When you pay and communicate on Good Dog, you’re covered by Payment Protection.

About Missy
Missy is a LOVE! She is very friendly and has never met a dog that she wasn’t instantly best friends with. She loves being with her people and of course, snacks! She is very birdy and loves to retrieve. Missy has good bone and a lovely head. Missy has several service/working dogs in her pedigree, and this would be a wonderful litter if you are looking for a pet, service dog, or hunting companion.

About Black Dog
Black Dog is seriously the BEST dog that has ever lived! She was born with an “old soul”- she is loyal, intuitive, and SMART! She is the dog that even as a puppy, never once jumped up on our kids. She has always just been such a good, beautiful girl. She is a great retriever and LOVES water. Anyone who has a Black Dog puppy tells us their dog is the best, smartest lab they have ever had.
