I'm Michael E., the breeder behind Central Ohio Doxies located in Columbus, OH. Our girls are the sweetest and laid back babies you could ask for. They are very loving and affectionate. They love to cuddle or be burrowed in the biggest pile of blankets you can give them! All pups are vet check, dewormed, and have been vaccinated to the appropriate age of them going to their new home.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I got into breeding after having my first dapple boy almost ten years ago. After a few years of having him. He had some behavior changes and after many hours of research discovered he was lonely and needed a companion. Fast forward to getting my first girl, he instantly fell in love with her and his whole personality changed and he was my little happy guy all over again.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our dogs temperament is very extra ordinary- They are known for so many things however, our dogs are more on the laid back and quieter side of the breed- that is until we spot a squirrel in the back yard and they have to remind them whose yard it is!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include longhaired and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, chocolate, fawn (isabella), and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Michael

Michael has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Michael partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We take into consideration the size of your home, family size, ability to care for the dog, making sure the new owners FULLY understand there is alot more to owning a dog than buying on. We are FIRM believers if you cant afford a 3000 dollar emergency vet bill- then you are not prepared to be a pet owner. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This includes vet checked, deworming, first round of shots, and depending if you want to include full or limited registration. There are additional step involved for full akc paperwork. Deposit will secure the puppy you chose.”

Contract & health guarantee

Michael may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
