I'm Luann B., the breeder behind Central Oregon Cairn Terriers located in Terrebonne, OR. Our dogs are DNA tested to ensure healthy happy puppies. Puppies are microchipped, dewormed, vaccinated and vet checked. If at any time the "furever" home is unable to keep there puppy/dog from us, we will find the dog a new "furever" home. They deserve the BEST life!

Why did you start breeding?
Our lifelong love of dogs led us to discover Cairn Terriers and we haven't looked back. What began as a guardian-home role quickly grew into the privilege of nurturing litters for a trusted breeder. Watching the first breaths of life, to eating solid kibble to new homes, that journey inspired us to become breeders devoted to preserving the Cairn Terrier and enhancing its exceptional qualities.What makes your program special?
We live with our dogs and are greatly in tune to each and every one of them. They're our "furry children". We are totally hands on in every aspect of raising our puppies. We adjust our lives as delivery nears and no female delivers unattended. We are there from the moment they take their first breaths of life. Puppies are cared for with lots of love and attention to all. Life revolves around them.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include brindle, cream brindle, wheaten, black brindle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

"All puppies will be Microchipped, Vaccinations, Deworming, Health Records, and a professional experience from a responsible breeder. $1000 Deposit is non-refundable, but is transferrable to a different litter for 12 months. About Ellie
Ellie loves to play with the other female dogs in the pack. They will all run and play chasing birds, looking for a possible vermin in the yard, or the farm cats who has a knack for teasing them. Ellie has been an amazing first time Mom, being most attentive to her puppies. She only left for a quick potty break the first days.

About Munchkin
Munchkin, is a petite lady who tends to be on the lazy side of life. Although she is good at keeping the yard safe from intruders, playing (digging) in the dirt and exploring what may be hiding in a bush. All of this is done at her level of importance. She has been a great producer of puppies. Her daughter, Tulip, is a great example. Tulips, litter mate has been successful in the show ring and as a sire. You just can’t help but love Munchkin as she has wrapped herself around my finger.

About TULIP
Tulip is a sweet dog who would prefer to be on your lap than doing almost anything and has been since she was born. She is a first generation "Munchkin", Mt Solo Lunar Eclipse, puppy whom we decided to hold back for ourselves as we watched her grow. She has such a great temperament and loves to please.

DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

I was looking for a new pup and happened upon Central Oregon Cairn terriers. The darling photos of the cuties I saw were just what I was looking for! From the very start Luann was great! Very helpful and informative! I knew I wanted a Cairn Terrier, because I had one before. They are such fun dogs! Very good personalities and very loyal to their person! I’m glad I found Luann and central Oregon Cairn terriers. My little Gracie is so perfect and so smart! Dealing with Luann was an absolute pleasure! She clearly cared about her pups and wanted to make sure they would go to the best, most loving homes possible. She was great at guiding my wife and I through the process of bringing Mr. Ewok (now Marcus!) home and making sure we’d have everything we needed to start off on the right track. Even coordinating with a flight nanny to get Marcus was made much easier thanks to Luann’s experience. I highly recommend Luann and would absolutely work with her again!
