I'm Jessica H., the breeder behind Chambray Labradors located in The Hammocks, FL. Our kennel has been around for 48 years. We breed according to the AKC standard & temperament, and offer hands-on mentorships. Our puppies are exclusively bred for show purposes but we do place our show level puppies in companion homes. We are professional dog show handlers and are the #1 AKC champion USA Labrador breeder. We specialize in training and conditioning.

Why did you start breeding?
We love Labrador Retrievers and all they have to offer. At Chambray Canine Community Dog Training & Dog Show Management, we use anything and everything available to us to develop the best of the best dogs that we have bred or accepted into our ‘for the betterment of the breed’ and mentorship program to make them the absolute best they can be!What makes your program special?
We DNA test and X-ray hips and elbows, prior to all breedings. We temperament test all our puppies and match each puppy to the right family and environment from our waiting list. We are not first come first serve basis or deposit based. Our puppies placement is our priority. We have a waiting list for families that need service dogs for family members with autism, Down syndrome, and MS.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
