I'm Tabitha C., the breeder behind Chaparro Farm located in Rainsville, AL. Our dogs are bred to have top qualities that all families want in their puppies, such as compassion, patience, and love! Our Pups are exposed to other dogs cats chickens, goats, & children! We start ENS at just a few days old and expose our pups to daily stimulation to ensure a well rounded Dog.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    After falling in love with the breed, we got our Dam health tested, and with 100% clear genetics, We knew right away we wanted to pass on her gene. Her beautiful coloration and super chill temperament makes a perfect companion.

  • What makes your program special?

    I strive to produce well tempered, healthy, breed standard pups. My current Dam is 100% Genetically clear, and the stud we use is as well! This insures the best start and the best chance at a long healthy life for your new companion.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red & white, black & white, black, red merle, blue merle, red, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Tabitha

Tabitha has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Tabitha partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,800 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“AKC or ASDR registration, pups will be up to date on vaccines and worming and be microchipped. $2200 is full registration. $2000 is limited registration(pet only). All of our puppies are the same price regardless of coloring. FULL Registration is the only option that changes the price. Microchipping is included in both.”

Tabitha may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
