I'm Catherine C., the breeder behind Charis Whippets located in Florida. We love this breed and the experience of having litters! Our mission is to raise pups that are set to become the best companions. Our hope is to prepare each of our puppies with thoughtful socialization so they have the best foundation to seamlessly transition into their new homes.

Why did you start breeding?
It is my dream to breed/raise and finish a conformation champion as an owner/handler. It is also my dream to raise Whippets that are biddable and can excel in many different disciplines, yet have an easy to find off button.What makes your program special?
We have carefully chosen lines that feature dual purpose dogs; dogs who excel in conformation and performance/sports events. Dogs are raised in our home and are part of our family. They are exposed to various situations, sounds, and textures in order to create a well rounded dog who is well suited to family life.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Catherine

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

About Eve
Eve is a female Whippet. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Catherine decided to make her part of their program. Catherine has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
