I'm Charlotte G., the breeder behind Charming Doods Goldendoodles located in Bay City, TX. Breeding Goldendoodles since 2016, we are a small program. We offer well-rounded, healthy, high-drive puppies who will excel in any adventure with their new family! Our dogs are intelligent, loving, athletic, and they produce puppies who will thrive in an active lifestyle. We're passionate about these dogs and are careful to breed and raise our pups with only the best ethical breeding policies.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    In 2015 we purchased Charming, our very first Goldendoodle. Because of his loving companionship, adorable teddy bear appearance, intelligence, and big goofy personality we were hooked! Falling madly in love with this hybrid breed, we even named Charming Doods after him. Since then, we have continued our focus on raising standard Multi-Generational Goldendoodles. We are a South Texas family whose doods are born and raised in our home-with lots of love and compassion, early stimulation, and excellent puppy curriculum- where they are exposed to all aspects of life, which include being socialized to children and learning basic commands. We do not operate a large kennel facility, nor do we rely on guardian homes. All of our breeding parents are first and foremost our family pets! The health of our dogs and their offspring is very important to us. Therefore, all parents have had their hips and eyes checked, genetic tested, and are all properly vetted. Our main priority is ensuring the health and well-being of our puppies from birth until they leave with their forever family - and beyond!   • What makes your program special?

    We are not a large kennel facility, nor do I rely on guardian homes. All puppies and parents reside in and are raised in our home where they are exposed to all aspects of home life, Including children and other pets. I truly believe this sets our puppies up to be the best! They go home familiar with home-life, familiar with basic commands, know what is expected of them and how to interact, fully socialized, and happy; making their adjustment a breeze!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, black, phantom, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Included is a 1 YR Health Guarantee, CKC Registration with Pedigree Certificate when applies, UTD Vaccinations, Deworming, Vet checked and cleared, Declaws Removed, Puppy Starter Kit, Socialization Program, Strict Puppy Curriculum followed, Early Potty and Crate/Kennel Training, and Introduction to grooming preparations. Our puppies are often in high demand, we offer our pets on a first come first serve basis, do not begin taking deposits until a litter is born, do not hold or reserve a puppy without receiving the $300 deposit and the completed and signed buyers agreement. You will choose your puppy at 6 weeks of age, we go in order that the deposits are received. Because Goldendoodles change so much as they grow, we wait until they are 6 weeks old to give you a better idea of hair color and type as well as temperament and personality. We like to make sure everyone gets their perfect match and is happy with their choice!"

    Charlotte from Charming Doods Goldedoodles has been a pleasure to work with in getting our first Goldendoodle. She is an ethical and responsive breeder. Charlotte provided us with no less than weekly updates and many times twice a week with our puppy's weight, vaccines, activity photos and videos. We were kept very well informed. Pick up of our puppy was easy and seamless. She provided us with a bag of goodies that included our puppy's vet visit, vaccine records. Puppy food, toys, snacks and a blanket with her kennel mates scent for comfort as well as grooming supplies. Charlotte is a very caring person and breeds beautiful puppies. She truly cares for these pups and provides excellent care. Our puppy was healthy and happy. When I took our puppy Loki to our Veterinarian, she was impressed with Charlotte's meticulous record keeping on when vaccines and dewormer was administered as well as schedule for future vaccines. I know there is another goldendoodle in my near future and won't adopt a puppy from anyone but her. Thank you Charlotte for all you did to make this an easy, pleasant experience.

    Charlotte was very attentive throughout the entire process. She provided weekly updates and always took the time to answer my questions. At pickup, Charlotte went over all of Lucy’s documents and went out of her way to provide handouts with vaccine dates and helpful information. She even sent my sweet Lucy home with essentials she would need for the first couple of days which was such a kind and thoughtful gesture.     I have purchased a puppy in the past with other breeders and had a terrible experience. If you want a breeder that’s not a puppy mill and really cares about her dogs, it’s Charlotte. She is very responsive to your situation and seems to match her puppy with the character of who the puppy will be for. She’s hands on after the sale with follow ups or responses to questions. The only thing I would have done differently, is bought 2 doodles so they can have companionship. How great is Charlotte? We went on a cruise after the purchase, and she cared for them before we picked the doodle up. Charlotte will not sell a puppy that has any issues and our lil’ girl has great temperament and super healthy. Before buying a Doodle, you must visit or talk with Charlotte.
