Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Everything went great! It was very nice meeting Kelsey in person and being able to pick up our new addition not too far from where we live. Puppy "Carys" is super smart and fun! She had the "sit" command down reliably within two days...Border Collie smart! Kelsey made it very easy to get Carys registered with the AKC, all the pre-work was already done. Cannot wait to visit the upcoming dog show in Oklahoma City and see Kelsey's champion dogs "in action". Overall, a very positive experience working with Kelsey and Good Dog.

It was a pleasure working with Kelsey. She is very professional, welcomes questions, responds to texts promptly, and shares photos and videos of your puppy throughout the process. She works with you on a mutually convenient time and location to get your new puppy, and offers support even after you take your new puppy home. I highly recommend working with Kelsey at Checkitout Boarder Collies. She is dedicated to breeding healthy, beautiful puppies with great dispositions. We couldn't be happier with our boarder collie puppy from Checkitout Boarder Collies. Thank you for everything Kelsey!
