Meet the breeder

I'm Lisa S., the breeder behind Cherry Ridge Frenchies located in Dover, AR. All of our dogs are loved as family members. We cherish our puppies from birth up until they leave our arms to snuggle into yours! Our focus is to produce the best dogs of the highest quality so that other families can also enjoy the love of a French Bulldogs. These dogs have proven to be wonderful companions in our lives. It is a privilege to be able to share that love and friendship with others through responsible breeding.

Q. & A. with Lisa

  • Why did you start breeding?

We have been breeding French bulldogs since 2017. We fell in love with this breed when we adopted our first girl Raya. We decided with my background in veterinarian work and the love we all had for frenchies, we wanted to start our own, very small breeding program to help share that love and enthusiasm of this breed to as many people as we could.
  • What makes your program special?

Our program is based on health, personality, and structure. Color is the last part of our breeding decisions made when selecting our pairings. We have a great relationship with our veterinarian and have all of our Frenchies examined extensively. We also do DNA health testing on all of our breeding dogs. This gives us an advantage in choosing potential litters for the best health possible.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
