I'm Tovee R., the breeder behind Cherrywell Carnivora located in Albany, OR. Cherrywell Carnivora is located in Albany, Oregon, focused on health-tested, thoughtfully raised Poms. Our animals live in our home alongside children, large dogs, cats, and goats — pups are socialized from day one. We DNA and OFA health test all breeding animals before they ever produce a litter.

Tovee has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Tovee partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.
“We place puppies based on fit, not first-come-first-served. Every placement starts with a conversation — we want to understand your lifestyle, your home, your activity level, and what you're hoping for in a dog. From there, we'll suggest which puppy we think is the right match, and why. Our process: 1. Submit an application. Tell us about yourself and what you're looking for. 2. We'll reach out. Expect a reply within 1–2 business days to schedule a call or continue by message. 3. We confirm a match. Once we agree on a fit, we'll send a purchase agreement. 4. Reserve with a deposit. A $500 deposit holds your puppy and is applied to the total purchase price. 6. Prepare for pickup. We'll stay in touch through the transition and support you as your puppy settles in. We're a small, home-based program — our dogs live with us, and we take placement seriously. We'd rather take the time to find the right home than rush.”

Tovee may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Tovee offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Tovee directly.
When you pay and communicate on Good Dog, you’re covered by Payment Protection.

Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation

Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
