Sheila M.

Breeder of Chesapeake Bay Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Sheila M., the breeder behind Chesi-Bay located in Navarre, FL. Our puppies are raised in our home. We put a lot of effort into socializing and caring for our top-quality Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppies. It is such an honor to preserve the line of these incredible dogs all the while creating companionship for others. This is where amazing temperament, intelligence, and beauty meet! Parents are both grand champion show dogs. Bart is a senior hunter, close to Master completion. their parents are both Master hunters.

Q. & A. with Sheila

  • Why did you start breeding?

We only have an old male and Maci in or home. I enjoy showing in dog shows so Maci is the first who pretty quickly, despite COVID, achieved AKC Grand Champion. She is from Swiss and exceptional US top bloodlines; Max and mom Maggie, hunter, tracking, and obedience. Lots of Master hunters in their parentage
  • What makes your program special?

I carefully picked a versatile and accomplished ( show, hunter) sire, Bart, with great temperament, personality, conformation. Maci is exceptional and my only female. This will be her only litter. I plan to keep one of the puppies for our own.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
