Q. & A. with Destiny
Why did you start breeding?
My rescue Pug and best friend, who I adopted while living in SF, was aging. We knew our time with him was short, and with 2 little boys at the time we could not imagine our life and home without the love of a dog. A family friend and breeder of Cockapoo puppies introduced me to the amazing world of breeding. She bred Cockapoos and to be honest, I fell in love!
What makes your program special?
Each of our females are purebred Cocker Spaniels registered with the AKC or F1 Cockapoo females raised in our home from birth. Before being added to our breeding program, all of our dogs are checked by our licensed Veterinarian practice - Broadview Animal Hospital and Reproductive Care. They undergo a thorough examination to include a Breeding Soundness exam, full bloodwork panel, Embark genetic testing and OFA certifications as recommended by OFA (based on breed of dog). I work to stay informed on breeding practices and participate in professional conferences, training classes, and certification courses. I take my role as a breeder very seriously and truly want what is best for my puppies and their future families.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, buff, cream, black and white, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Aria, mom
Cockapoo
About Aria
Aria is one of our own Chesley Hill Cockapoos. Her momma was our beautiful girl, Noel. Aria has been part of our home and lives from day 0 of her life. She is loving, sweet, playful, and so cute! Aria and I successfully completed Puppy I class and will be moving on to Puppy II. If asked, I might say she's my ESD (dogs are SO good for the soul). She has high human focus, which makes training and bonding so enjoyable. She's oh so cuddly and loves to snuggle.
Moxie, dad
Poodle
About Moxie
Moxie is a handsome and fun little dude - and a much loved part of our family! His favorite part of the day is the morning - when he very happily greets the boys as they come down from their rooms. If he wakes before Destiny, he will wait at her door - and once opened, will greet his momma with wagging tail, licks, and a floofy belly ready for rubs. When not playing, he loves either snuggle or collect all the dog bones and chews onto a doggie bed - taking one out of the basket at a time - and munch away. When the day is done, momma carries him to bed - lifting his blanket so he can climb into his bed and be covered up. Once adequately tucked in, and with spa music gently playing, Destiny will sing "You are my Sunshine" while smooching his nose and forehead. One last "I love you Moxie" whispered into his ear and then it's lights out.
Moon, mom
Cocker Spaniel
About Moon
Moon is a beautiful, silly, fun girl who loves her family. She is a good "big" sister to Maple, ready to try new things and show her sister it's ok and she can do it too and hasn't met a puppy she doesn't ADORE (including pups from the other mommas). A little shy at first, but quickly warms up when she sees love and treats are in her future. Moon is a great traveler and we love taking her along on errands and trips out and about. The boys absolutely adore her eyebrows (hence the nickname).
Charlotte Ann, mom
Cockapoo
About Charlotte Ann
Charlotte Ann is one of our own Chesley Hill Cockapoos. Her momma was our sweet girl, Apple. Charlotte has been part of our home and lives from day 0 of her life. She is quiet and gentle-mannered and an absolute cuddle bug. BUT, she also adores competitive fetch with Ari (some of her faves fetch items are her - ball, giggle kitty, squeaky jack). She is a great travel companion, the best nap / book reading buddy and is such a happy, sweet, loving and fun addition to our home & family.
Maple, mom
Cocker Spaniel
About Maple
Maple is a sweet, quiet, gentle girl who adores snuggles and cuddling up with her favorite stuffed doggie and Destiny. Maple loves to be included in fetch, but enjoys chasing after her sisters more than actually getting the ball. When homeschool is in session, her favorite spot is next to Reid (wedging herself between his stool and the couch). She is willing to try new things, only after seeing her big sister Moon try it out first and loves welcoming all the boys friends when they come over. She is a master at her doggie door and loves the freedom it provides to go in and out whenever she wishes. She is a wonderful travel companion on long car rides or quick trips out and about.
