I'm Callie P., the breeder behind Chickentown Labradors located in Somerset, PA. We love this breed and the experience of having litters! Our mission is to raise pups that are set to become the best companions. We breed to preserve the unique characteristics of this breed while considering a variety of traits, including health, conformation, and temperament. We emphasize the proper socialization and training of our puppies, and we strive to promote responsible dog ownership.

Why did you start breeding?
I have always wanted to breed labs, and after buying our home I was finally able to do so!
What makes your program special?
We make sure our sites and dams are fully health tested and passed OFAs. We show all paperwork with test results. We are also there for our new families 24/7 with any questions or concerns that they may have no matter the age of the dog!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include silver and charcoal. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Callie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes Prepaid Akc Limited registration, vaccination, deworming, microchip, puppy welcome home bag, and food. Deposit is on first come first serve basis and can be used in the current litter or another litter.”

About Aspen
Aspen has such a loving heart. She will be looking for attention from anyone who comes. She is also training to be my Search and Rescue Air Scent K-9. She loves her job and knows when its time to just be with the family. Her work drive is strong and takes after her mother as being a working girl. Her little humans will always be first priority when it comes to anything!

Buck is such a gentle big teddy bear. He cant get enough cuddles and loves from anyone he meets. He will protect his little humans when anything becomes a danger though. He loves playing fetch, going for walks and will always have something in his mouth to greet you with.

Rooster is a female Labrador Retriever. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Callie decided to make her part of their program. Callie has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), DNA Disease Panel, D Locus (Dilute) DNA test
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
