I'm Alexis B., the breeder behind Chlex K9 Shepherds & Dachshunds located in Gulfport, MS. I breed health tested working dogs to be placed as service dogs to working homes or family homes for personal protection. Finding the right pup for my family is a passion. I am grateful to spend my life around such incredible four-legged friends.

Why did you start breeding?
I decided I wanted to help preserve the breed after a german shepherd ESA rehabilitated me from depression, anxiety, and other mental health problems.What makes your program special?
My passion for giving back to the community makes my program special. I plan to donate one puppy from each litter to either a service home or a working department.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
German Shepherd puppies have stock coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Price
Puppy prices include a $250 refundable deposit and between $1,250 - $1,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
