I'm Leigh Ann H., the breeder behind Cimmarun Farm Aussies located in Beaverdam, VA. Our dogs and puppies are raised in our home and are loved as part of the family. We spend countless hours with each of our litters, socializing and caring for our puppies to prepare them for their forever homes. We truly love our puppies and know you will, too!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    When I was a teenager, I helped out a farm where the owner bred labs. I helped whelp the puppies and care for them. I had so much fun and learned so much doing it. When I bought my first Australian Shepherd, I fell in love with the breed and knew that I wanted to share the breed with others.

  • What makes your program special?

    We strive to produce healthy, family dogs. We put a lot of work into our program and making sure our puppies are going to make great members of your family.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Leigh Ann

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Leigh Ann partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $900 - $2,600 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    So obsessed with our puppy! Blossom Is from Jett & Bentley litter, not only is she the most gorgeous puppy I’ve ever seen, she is the perfect addition to our family. She is active but not hyper, already showing signs of high intelligence. The perfect companion for my active 10 year old daughter. And most importantly she is a very healthy fluff ball of love.     We had such a wonderful experience with Leigh Ann from start to finish! She was incredibly sweet, super accommodating, and made the entire process easy and stress-free. She did an amazing job raising “Pepper” before he came home with us you can truly tell how much care, time, and love she puts into her puppies and Cimmarun Farm!     Leigh Ann was incredibly helpful from the very first message! She was responsive and helped my husband and I pick which puppy would be the best fit from across the country. She was very flexible and accommodating in making arrangements for pick up of our girl Dolly (previously Brie) and kept us updated weekly with photos and videos. It's obvious Leigh Ann cares deeply about these dogs/puppies and I can't think of a better person to work with to find a new addition to the family.
