I'm Lauren S., the breeder behind Circle City Dachshunds located in Ashford, AL. Our dogs are bred for Health and disposition as our main goal. All of our breeding-age adults are OFA and DNA health tested, AKC registered. Our puppies come socialized with a 2yr genetic health guarantee.
All of our babies are sent home with a puppy starter pack, vet checked, microchipped, age appropriate vaccines and dewormed. We send weekly updated pics of your baby as s/he grows until they are ready to leave at 8 weeks old.

Why did you start breeding?
I started breeding 6 years ago because we wanted to get into showing and bettering the breed.
What makes your program special?
We strive to only produce healthy sound puppies. Our breeding requirements are very strict to ensure only the healthiest offspring are produced.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, chocolate, chocolate and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
