Happy birthday to our number one litter 🎁🎊🎉💕 I love seeing how they've grown and hearing how they're all doing so wonderfully with their families 💕

I'm a bit late posting the puppies' 8 week update. It's been a hectic week filled with scheduling pick up times. Getting everyone their full grooms, which they were fabulous for. I've been finalizing paperwork and of course enjoying the last snuggles I'll get with the puppies. Six of the eight puppies are getting settled in with their families. So far everyone has done generally well transitioning into their new homes from what I've heard. One is driving home currently and one will be going home soon. I will be enjoying the extra one on one attention with him until then. I've enjoyed thoroughly meeting the wonderful families as they've come to get their new collies, and am thrilled to know they'll all be getting so much love and attention in their new homes. I look forward to all the updates on how they're all doing and hearing about their new adventures.

Week 7 pupdate! The puppies had a busy week. Cairn earned her own name of Grace. They all had their first vet appointments. Everyone had a clean bill of health and they were all very good and enjoyed the extra attention from the vet and techs. The puppies had another 2 practice car rides. Everyone did well with them. No car sickness and only a couple voiced their objections to being kenneled for it. We've had a very rainy week. Despite the weather the puppies have enjoyed multiple short hikes around the property. With the addition of mud and puddles to experience. Every morning they've enjoyed accompanying me to feed and water the horses and chickens. In between the rain they've all gotten to continue practicing recalls and rewards for a general heel position. We have also begun picking up their indoor potty tray during the day when the weather allows. They've all done well at going outside when it's picked up. They all enjoyed playing in the leaves blown about by the leaf blower and playing alongside my own kids in the leaf piles. During the very rainy periods they've relished playing inside with the puzzle feeders, lick mats and sniffing out hidden treats. As well as continuing to practice polite sitting for attention. Everyone has gotten to experience wearing the terrible, itchy, annoying collar. In preparation for beginning to introduce the leash. I'm looking forward to our last week of puppy snuggles for some of the puppies. As well as the building on and solidifying what the puppies have been learning until they head home

The puppies had a good vet appointment today despite the near constant rain soaking us while loading and unloading. Everyone got a clean bill of health and did well for their vaccinations and standing on the table and scale. We only had one potty accident and no car sickness during the whole nearly 3 hour adventure there and back. Many thanks to my friend for coming along with me and helping wrangle individual puppies for the vet and helping their appointment go so smoothly and as pleasant as possible for them as we could.

Week 6 pupdate! We've had our last puppy matched to her family this week! Little Miss. Navi will also be keeping her name ❤️ The pups have had a busy week. They have continued practicing polite greetings, and calm behavior before getting their meals. They all have gotten an introduction to the clicker. They've also gotten to explore new experiences outside as well. They got to meet the free ranging chickens, horses and Kitty. They explored the tunnel, wobble board and a crinkly feed bag which was apparently a joy to attack. They all got to spend time with Dad and Grandma this week, who have decided they are big enough to play with and interact with now that they're a bit bigger. They've gotten to listen to construction sounds thanks to my son's building project as well as hearing the tractor haul hay out. The puppies enjoyed a pack “hike” into the pasture to enjoy exploring all the sights, sounds and smells of nature. They're all getting some more freedom inside where they're experiencing all the commotion that comes with family life. Along with that they've all gotten to have one on one time to practice recalls, and to get some exposure to being on their own before going home They also had their first experience with a short car ride. We look forward to the next week, as they will be having check ups, and continue to grow upon the skills they've been learning.

The puppies took their first practice car ride today. Everyone was fairly content with it. No one had an accident or got carsick.

Week 5 pupdate! We've had 6 of the puppies matched to their families this week! Peak earned the name Rook. Scout, Aspen and Treks’ families are keeping their names. Cavern and Cairns’ families are still deciding on just the perfect name for their puppies. The pups have had a whirlwind of a week. They've been practicing polite greetings, and calm behavior before getting their meals. As well as getting a bit more exposure to time on the grooming table, sound of the dryer and basic brushing. They've all gotten some exposure to the beginnings of bathing. They've also gotten to explore as many of the new experiences as I could introduce; different textures, sounds and sensations. They all got to spend time with Dad and Grandma this week. As well as getting their first experience with the snow and more time outside. They even got to experience the chickens this week. We look forward to the next week, as they continue to grow and get more practice with their new skills. As well as beginning to introduce some new skills and experiences as well.

Collie
About Calvin
Calvin epitomizes the classic Collie temperament - remarkably sweet, child-friendly, and eager to learn. Working with Calvin has been a pleasure as he develops the necessary skills to pass the Canine Good Citizen test and excel in 4-H shows. Furthermore, he is taking great pleasure in 4-H this year, trick training and showing. Calvin did remarkably well in his first show; earning 1st in his first ever obedience class and earning reserve champion in obedience overall. He also to competed in agility and showmanship. Having come from a working farm, Calvin demonstrates the herding instincts a Collie should have while remaining attentive to his handler. He loves being part of the family, joining us on camping trips, lake outings, hikes, or simply relaxing with us.

Nadia is great, and great is also the puppy she got us! Aspen is now 5 months old and she is already AKC STAR Puppy certified! She is great in training, learns fast and is healthy and friendly. Nadia was always attentive and she even started training Aspen (socializing, tolerance to noise, etc) as a puppy and we think it made a big difference. We struggled a bit when we got Aspen in understanding how to care for her, Nadia helped us giving tips and advice. Aspen is now a loyal and friendly companion, our very own Lassie dog and we're very thankful to Nadia for what she did for us!

Nadia was amazing to work with, helpful and kept us updated on our sweet Scout! She even sent him home with a care package and all his paperwork. She’s organized and knows the breed well. We are so fortunate to have found her, and our little Scout is the perfect fit for us! We would definitely work with Nadia again.

Nadia was very responsive to my application and messages. I can’t recommend her enough for her dedication to her pups. My family is so excited and blessed to have found this special boy, who fits right in with our family. Thanks to Nadia, he already has an impressive foundation of basic skills and manners.

Nadia is fantastic to work with! Her communication is phenomenal and the whole experience felt so personal. She provided frequent “pupdates” and made me feel involved as my puppy was growing. I was wanting specific things out of my dog and Nadia was great in matching us together and fostering a solid foundation. We just adore our silly Margot! She is so smart and always ready to take on the world. I absolutely could not recommend Nadia enough for anyone seeking a solid example of what a Collie is, and a breeder who very obviously puts in the time, effort, and dedication to produce well rounded dogs.

Nadia was incredible. She was very patient and kind with us and always answered our questions. Plus, she gave us a well-trained puppy, who was friendly with other dogs and kids. You can see the incredible work and love she put into Coco. Without a doubt, we would travel 14 hours again in the future to add another member to our family with Nadia.
