Meet the breeder

I'm Cj S., the breeder behind Cj Snuggle Pugs located in Yreka, CA. We have developed several protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of our dogs. It’s our top priority to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy and healthy new family member into their homes! Due to overwhelming response, I can only address inquiries once a day, in the order they were received. Thank you.

Q. & A. with Cj

  • Why did you start breeding?

I started with two older rescue pugs, both of whom had health issues and had come from puppy mills. They brought us tremendous joy, but also heartache. I fell helplessly in love with the breed and made it my mission to raise the standards for healthy pug babies, brought up in a safe and ethical home environment.
  • What makes your program special?

We are very small program raising only one litter every year or two. We mainly breed for our family and friends who love velcro pups as we do. As such, birthing healthy pups is of the utmost importance to us. It's not only an ethical choice, it is personal.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Had an outstanding experience with CJ Snuggle Pugs. Due to distance, we were unable to meet the pug pup before adopting her. This said, we felt comfortable throughout the adoption process largely due to open, informative and engaging communication with the breeder. She provided adorable pictures - one being an ultrasound! Amazing seeing the pups inside the mommy’s tummy. Truly happy and satisfied with the experience. We love our little girl. Woof!!
