I'm Cynthia J., the breeder behind CJ's Dach Dynasty located in Gatesville, TX. Dachshund breeder of long hairs. DNA testing is done on all dogs to limit defects and produce quality puppies. The goal we set and which I believe is still the most important, is to produce healthy puppies that make a well-rounded character in an adult dog.

Why did you start breeding?
I've just enjoyed them so much as pets over the past 20+ years that I wanted to learn more about them. That began my journey of digging into the genetic field. The more I learned the more fascinated I became & wanted to pass the joy of Dachshunds onto others!What makes your program special?
I put my heart into my program! My dogs & my puppies are given special care & attention & I often say they even have better health care than I do! Their health & well-being is my number one priority. My dogs & puppies are well loved & cared for every day!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

About Déjà
Déjà it's an Ee cream Brindle Non-phenotypical Piebald (meaning she was genetically tested as a piebald (spsp), but her coat does not present as piebald. She also carries dilute (Dd) & tan points (ayat). She has a sweet disposition & an even temperament. She is PRA crd4/cord 1 clear, cord5 carrier, but not affected.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

I had the pleasure of meeting our breeder, Cynthia, when we met to pick up our sweet puppy Daisy (Mochi). It was such a delight to meet both! Daisy was just so sweet, loving and happy to meet us.
