I'm Cynthia J., the breeder behind CJ's Dach Dynasty located in Gatesville, TX. Dachshund breeder of long hairs. DNA testing is done on all dogs to limit defects and produce quality puppies. The goal we set and which I believe is still the most important, is to produce healthy puppies that make a well-rounded character in an adult dog.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I've just enjoyed them so much as pets over the past 20+ years that I wanted to learn more about them. That began my journey of digging into the genetic field. The more I learned the more fascinated I became & wanted to pass the joy of Dachshunds onto others!

  • What makes your program special?

    I put my heart into my program! My dogs & my puppies are given special care & attention & I often say they even have better health care than I do! Their health & well-being is my number one priority. My dogs & puppies are well loved & cared for every day!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Cynthia

Cynthia has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Cynthia partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    I had the best experience getting Miss Wren from CJs Dach Dynasty. I fell in love with Wren and on a short notice Cynthia worked with me to get Wren all the way to Illinois. She was very transparent and I loved that Wren was already genetically tested. Once Wren made it home safe and sound I fell in love even more. She was acclimated to children and already crate trained at night time. Wrens temperament exceeded my expectations all thanks to the best breeder. She came with all her paperwork, embark test results, and helpful information about the breed. Not to mention the cutest go home bag with goodies!
