I'm Cheyenne J., the breeder behind CJ’s Miniature Pinscher’s located in Coos Bay, OR. Quality, health-tested, and socialized dogs are the principal components of our success as reputable breeders. We’re proud of the seamless transition our puppies are able to make as fun, lovable family members.
Q. & A. with Cheyenne
Why did you start breeding?
I had my first MP when I was in grade 7. Sadly she did not come from an ethical breeder. I had her for 11 years and sadly she had passed away due to health complications.
When I healed from her loss I decided that I wanted to breed healthy, well-rounded, beautiful companions so that people who loved the breed could have one that was bred specifically for health and longevity. It has been one of my best decisions.
What makes your program special?
We always make sure that they pass their health & genetic testing before we keep them in our program. Every dog we have is OFA CHIC certified as well as tested and clear through Embark. Embark is a genetic test for dogs that test’s over 200 different genetic diseases known to all breeds of dogs as well as breed specific.
Our dogs also must receive their AKC show championship prior to breeding.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include chocolate stag red, stag red, red, chocolate and tan, chocolate and rust, black and tan, and black and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
