Clair’s Cavachon’s of Mid Coast Maine

Clair F.

Breeder of Cavachons

Meet the breeder

I'm Clair F., the breeder behind Clair’s Cavachon’s of Mid Coast Maine located in Owls Head, ME. As a L & D career RN, this has been a retirement bucket list of mine. Thus, this is my 2nd and final litter. I trained thru AKC and did neurological stimulation with the puppies. They are spectacular.

Q. & A. with Clair

  • Why did you start breeding?

Bucket list as retired L&D RN. Took a few courses and attended seminars on dog breeding & whelping.
  • What makes your program special?

Small, household very limited (2 fantastic litters) breeder. We drove to the Carolina's to get a Bichon, whom we named Doris Day. I found a well-credentialed stud in Readfield, Maine.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include tan and white, black and white, and apricot and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
