I'm Tricia M., the breeder behind Cockers of Country Lane located in Mason, MI. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!
Q. & A. with Tricia
Why did you start breeding?
When I started looking for a spaniel, I ran into all kinds of unsavory people who were not raising the best of dogs, yet charging a small fortune. My hubby and I thought that we would raise healthy, well mannered and well socialized puppies for an affordable price.
What makes your program special?
My puppies are raised with all my other dogs. My girls co parent. They all are in the process of learning good behavior that they will need to be a member of the family. They are not locked in cages, ever. We start potty training from around 3 weeks on turf and then outside. If you don't care for an active, ball playing life, my puppies are probably not for you. They LOVE to play ball!!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and tan, buff and white, buff, black white and tan, black and white, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Tricia
Tricia has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 deposit and between $1,300 - $1,600 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Our puppies clearly have a price range. However we certainly don’t want our babies to miss out on their perfect, forever home because of $. I ask for a deposit to confirm placement as it's a first come first serve on available, approved homes. If someone is looking for something particular, and I ear mark it for them, I've passed on others. However, if someone decides that they don't want one of my babies, I'm certainly not going to force them to continue with the sale. Their health and happiness is more important to me than someone thinking they found something better. So I decide on case to case on the refund of a deposit.”

Program update on 05 June •
The babies are doing fantastic. They are trying so hard to not just stand but take off walking. Mainly to mug their momma for milk🤪The babes will be 3 weeks old this Sunday June 8th. This morning we found a little black, green collared little rascal outside of the weeping box, trying to help herself to her mommas water. So it’s time for a change of accomidations. They sure are growing and are very sweet babies.
