Why did you start breeding?
As my passion grew, so did my desire to be more involved. I didn’t just want to own Australian Shepherds—I wanted to contribute to the breed in a meaningful way. That’s when I made the decision to step into breeding. My goal wasn’t simply to produce puppies, but to help preserve and improve the qualities that make this breed so special: their sound minds, strong structure, and loyal, loving nature.What makes your program special?
What makes us special is what we put into our adult dogs to make healthy puppies! Parents have OFA Eyes, Hips & Elbow Testing. Also genetically & DNA tested through embark to ensure they do not carry any genetic diseases that could be passed down the line.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red & white, black & white, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

“This price includes a 1 year health guarantee. This covers genetic health conditions, confirming that your puppy has been thoughtfully bred from health-tested parents. We require a $300 deposit to hold your puppy. Deposits are non-refundable and never expire.”

Litter update on 21 Apr •…These sweet babies will be 6 weeks tomorrow🐶 As we get closer to go-home time, crates have been introduced and these pups are learning the routine so well. Also by now they are pros at going potty in the potty box. We’re getting so close to the next chapter for these babies, and it’s so special watching them become who they’re meant to be 💛

Litter update on 07 Apr •…One more sleep until these cuties hit 4 weeks! 🐾 This stage is such a game changer—no longer just sleepy little babies, they’re now busy exploring, playing, and figuring out their tiny voices (and yes… they’ve found them 😄). Personalities are popping out more each day, and it’s so fun seeing who’s bold, who’s cuddly, and who’s always in the middle of the action. Mealtime is getting exciting, playtime is getting longer, and the puppy pile naps are still as adorable as ever. It’s safe to say things are getting a little louder, a little messier, and a whole lot more fun around here! I can’t wait to see how they continue to grow over the next few weeks 💕

Program update on 30 Mar •…Tiny paws, big milestone 🐾🥹 Today was their very first taste of puppy mush and let’s just say… it was equal parts messy and adorable 🤍🍽️ From curious sniffs to full-on face dives, these little babies are learning something new with every bite. Colorful Dreamers Australian Shepherds reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Australian Shepherds.
Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
