I'm Tammie O., the breeder behind Companion Pups located in Tennessee. In our program, we focus on breeding excellence. Puppies are bred for health, temperament, and to meet conformation standards. Our ultimate goal is to produce well-structured lovable pups that excel and have the ability to be the greatest family companions.
Q. & A. with Tammie
Why did you start breeding?
Have always loved genetics and animals. I started out breeding pet mice and rats as a child and progressed to dogs when I owned my own home. I have always felt a genuine connection to dogs and just wanted to bring that love, loyalty, and happiness to others.
What makes your program special?
We have been breeding for years and have worked hard to produce beautiful quality dogs. We have continually improved our program and our lines, and are so proud of that! We raise puppies in our home under feet and they all start off in our bedroom with us! We start name recognition, pad training, and nail trimmings along with everyday household sounds, sights, and smells. Only the best will do!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
