I'm Lauren G., the breeder behind Condition 1 Retrievers located in Meadville, PA. Field bred Labrador Retrievers located in Northwestern Pennsylvania. All our puppies are AKC/UKC Registered and have exceptional pedigree. Both sire and dam have the breed appropriate health testing through OFA and Genetic Panels. These puppies would do best in active hunting/ competition homes.

  • What makes your program special?

    We do ALL the nessessary breed standard testing from OFA, Genetic Panels along with D Logus done via Pawprint. We only believe and breed the standard Labrador Retriever colors (black, yellow and Chocolate). All our puppies come with contracts along with AKC/UKC Registration. We strive to provide your family with the perfect dog for your lifestyle.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Lauren

Lauren has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes: dew claw removal, first set of puppy shots, letter from our vet on puppy health and microchiped. The Litter will be AKC/UKC Registered. Deposit will be due once puppies are born to reserve your puppy pick spot on our list. Deposits are nonrefundable.”

Lauren may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Stargardt Disease, Skeletal Dysplasia (SD2), Retinal Dysplasia/Oculoskeletal Dysplasia 1 (RD OSD), Hereditary Nasal Parakeratosis (HNPK), Congenital Myasthenic Syndrome (CMS), Labrador Retriever Type, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
