I'm Rachel S., the breeder behind Cool Meadow Farms located in Tylertown, MS. Breeding healthy dogs from show, herding, and agility Champion lines. We adore our dogs and are so proud of them! Our dogs are first bred for health and temperament, color is just a bonus. We also take socializing them seriously and use puppy culture as a guide for raising our babies to have confidence! Misbehavior in dogs comes from a lack of confidence. We strive to educate and provide the best care for our families.

Why did you start breeding?
I bred a litter just for myself and sold a few puppies to friends. We ended up selling a dog that became a national agility champion and 3-time world team member. In 2019 we had 3 dogs competing in the Netherlands. We also wanted to raise confident companions, therapy dogs, and your best friend so we kept going!What makes your program special?
We have kept my original line .. so a lot of my puppies are cousins and I've had 4-5 generations born here. We only bring in new lines that we believe in after much research. This gives me the opportunity to know the health line of my dogs. We also follow the puppy culture program to help socialize them as best we can!What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include smooth and rough coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle, red merle, blue, gold, lilac, red, and slate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Price
Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $600 - $2,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“This includes first shots at the vet. Up-to-date appropriate shots. AKC registration 30 days of free pet insurance. Some food, treats, records, and copies of health panels. All deposits are nonrefundable but always transferable up to 2 years.”

Rachel may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Rachel was the most wonderful person and breeder I’ve ever met or seen. She take care of all the puppies well and is doing all she could to provide me the healthiest and happiest baby. We are located in New York and was looking for a breeder that loves dogs and allow them to have a spacious yard to run. Rachel’s farm is wonderful, and allows boarder collies to run and grow. She welcomes visitation to the farm that you could best observe the puppies with different personalities. Oreo- a blue Merle boarder collie we got is the best-he’s get the best personality ever-naughty but smart. He grew up to a beautiful boy with wonderful shape. He is teachable, and learned fast to use the pads after he came home. He’s 8 months now and is getting compliments every single day.
