Carolyn C.

Breeder of Australian Shepherds

Meet the breeder

I'm Carolyn C., the breeder behind Copeland's Kennels located in Malta, OH. We are a small family-run kennel and farm. We genetic health test our breeding dogs through paw print genetics and strive to produce top-quality farm and family companions. Our puppies are loved beyond measure and we look forward to getting to know you and matching you with your new companion!

Q. & A. with Carolyn

  • Why did you start breeding?

We got our first Australian Shepherd 5 years ago and decided that we wanted to raise well-rounded, family, and farm-friendly companions. We have decided to expand our breeding to include both Australian Shepherds and Auggies in our quest to breed the perfect family and farm companions.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are loved beyond measure by us and our little humans. Our puppies are well socialized and introduced to situations we think they may encounter in their future lives. We want to ensure they are getting the best start possible in life and that we can see development before placing them. We love what we do and truly want the very best for our puppies and their forever families.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
