I'm Dania E., the breeder behind Cor Collies located in Provo, UT. We select for healthy dogs and a classic collie family-oriented temperament. Our dogs live in our home with our family and share the ins and outs of the day-to-day with us. Likewise, our puppies are lovingly raised in a home and family environment from the moment they are born.
Q. & A. with Dania
Why did you start breeding?
I have always loved and lived with dogs, and have seen how much we benefit from their companionship. I have also admired the work that a good breeder does to prepare a pup for a lifetime of success and, after getting our first collie, I knew I wanted to provide families with the same loving, dependable companionship that our collie has been for us.
What makes your program special?
Little hands and big hearts. Every step of our breeding program is a family endeavor, and our dogs are an essential part of what makes up our home. They are loved on and played with all day, every day while they are with us.
We socialize pups following the Puppy Culture program, and puppies are familiar with people of all ages and a variety of animals (rabbit, cat, chickens) before they go home.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include smooth and rough coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable merle and white, sable merle, sable and white, sable, blue merle white and tan, blue merle and white, black white and tan, and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Sampa
Sampa is our foundation dam and is a phenomenal family dog. She has the remarkable ability to match our pace, and is happy to lounge around the house on a slow day or join us for an all-day hike at the drop of a hat. If she’s with her people, she is a happy dog.
She is completely unfazed by loud noises (fireworks, thunder, and loud children included) and is unique among collies in that she's not much of a barker, even when all the other dogs in our neighborhood get going.
We keep chickens and rabbits in our backyard, and I can leave her off-leash with them while they roam. She makes fast friends with everyone she meets—no matter the species!

Breeder-Reported Testing
Excellent level
Cor Collies reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Collies.
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
