I'm Laken M., the breeder behind Corgis in Paradise located in Paradise, TX. We proudly breed AKC-registered Pembroke Welsh Corgis in North Texas. Our dogs are healthy, loving, and, of course, adorable! Located less than one hour outside Fort Worth, Texas we are dedicated to breeding healthy, AKC-registered Pembroke Welsh Corgis. Our Corgis are raised in a loving environment and are well-socialized, making them the perfect addition to any family!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    While Dillon and I both have been around many breeds, it wasn't quite until college that we found love at first sight. Each other? Maybe. But the corgi named Einstein a few doors down, for SURE. The intelligent, caring, and witty breed captivated our hearts from that day on. Now we're determined to continue the breed so many families much like ours - can experience the true joy a corgi brings.

    At Corgis in Paradise, we are dedicated to providing the best care and environment for our corgis. Our commitment to excellence means that our corgis are raised in a loving home, ensuring they are well-socialized and ready to become a cherished part of your family. They are a part of our working ranch and exposed to livestock daily. Our corgis are genetically triple clear and AKC certified!

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red, sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Laken

Laken has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Laken partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and between $1,100 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Characteristics that may contribute to a higher price include the type of registration (limited vs full), parents, type of coat, first pick of the litter. Ex. fluffy or bluie may be of higher cost. ”

Contract & health guarantee

Laken may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     As with anything online, it's easy to be hesitant and skeptical. Such a large endeavor to search for a new family member to add brings emotion and plenty of stress, but that was all alleviated with such an involved, responsive and caring breeder family. Laken helped answer questions I had even before a purchase was committed, which speaks volumes. As soon as we were committed, we received regular updates and pictures of our pup throughout.     Laken was super responsive to any and all questions that we had. She also continuously sent pictures and videos of her being extremely sweet to our Piper.
