Meet the breeder

I'm Maggie J., the breeder behind Cornerstone Australian Shepherds located in Woodinville, WA. We are a wife/husband/son team with a very small number of dogs in our own home. We show in conformation, agility and obedience and breed litters occasionally. Our breeding program is focused on 'do it all' Aussies who will be successful in homes, and at sports.

Q. & A. with Maggie

  • What makes your program special?

Cornerstone Aussies was started by my mentor Connie Chapman in 1985. Connie was never a large scale breeder, but she cared deeply for the breed, was a key pillar in her local club, and a delight to everyone around her. She believed in producing great family pets first and foremost, and loved every one of her puppy buyers. She passed in 2022 and we are honored to continue her legacy.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
