I'm Jordan S., the breeder behind Cosmic Aussies located in Chillicothe, OH. We offer home-raised AKC Australian Shepherds with a focus on health, temperament, adaptability, and family-friendly personalities. We have one breeding female and male, so each of our litters are carefully planned, and receive our full attention. Our parent dogs have a low herding drive and have more of a laid-back personality. We strive to bring that out in each litter by socializing our puppies and exposing them to different enriching activities. Our pups make amazing companions!

Why did you start breeding?
We fell in love with the breed and realized there were not many quality breeders in our area. We wanted to show that there are still reputable breeders who put their heart into their puppies and raise them as family. We have loved the process and enjoy placing puppies with loving, forever families.What makes your program special?
We treat our puppies like they are family, and they are raised in our home with us. We aim to raise well-socialized puppies with family-friendly temperaments. We update you often on your puppy's progress with photos and videos! Visits are welcome any time.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Jordan
Jordan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $750 - $1,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Puppies come with a 1-year health guarantee, tail docking, dewclaw removal, veterinarian visits at birth and 6 weeks, first set of vaccinations, biweekly worming, and a goody bag with samples of their puppy food. The deposit is nonrefundable unless my veterinarian finds a serious health problem with the puppy. The deposit is applied towards the total balance.”
Contract & health guarantee
Jordan may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Multifocal Retinopathy 1 (CMR1), Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
