I'm Kerry C., the breeder behind Costello Farm located in Timpson, TX. We are a small breeding program focusing on maintaining the Collie standards for Rough and Smooth. Our puppies are born and raised in our home where they receive socialization and training. All dogs and puppies go to their new home up to date with vaccines, deworming and AKC registration.
Q. & A. with Kerry
Why did you start breeding?
I purchased a Collie for my daughter and fell in love with the gentleness and diligence and dedication of the breed.
What makes your program special?
All of our dogs come from one of the worlds top breeder, handler, trainer and educator, which has mentored me for many years. We have researched multiple aspects of the Collie and learned a great deal. As a result, we strive for a perfect balance between standards and genetics. Ours dogs come from incredible champion pedigrees and we have produced champions of both confirmation, herding and obedience, as well as service dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include rough and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable, blue merle and white, sable and white, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
