Meet the breeder

I'm Tarah H., the breeder behind Country Creek Doodles located in Tipton, IN. At CCD, our mission is to raise healthy, well-balanced pups in a loving environment, guided by integrity, responsibility, & heart. We prioritize health, thoughtful breeding, & early socialization to ensure each pup is prepared for family life & placed into a home where they will thrive.

Q. & A. with Tarah

  • Why did you start breeding?

After Claire passed, I stumbled upon the Bernedoodle breed. They were exactly what I wanted my next pup to be. After researching the breed, I decided that I wanted to start raising them so I could produce a healthy, family-friendly pup that met my expectations.
  • What makes your program special?

It’s simple-- love and joy! These are not just dogs to me, and I’m not breeding for the money. I’m breeding because I want to bring joy to other families that love this breed as much as I do! My fur babies are family and live an amazing life. I look forward to connecting with you!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include mini, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Truly the best experience! Tarah was so wonderful - helpful, answered all of my questions, sent pictures and videos! Cannot say enough good things about Tarah or the sweetest bernedoodle girl I got from her! From the moment Poppy came home she has been confident, smart, quirky, and loving! It is obvious she was loved so well before being adopted! I’d do it again 100 times 🥰

Liberty (Mackey) has brought so much joy to our lives. At 6 months, she was already traveling with us in our motor home as we enjoy our retirement. This girl is so full of love for everyone she meets, especially kids. She is healthy, intuitive, inquisitive, playful, and intelligent. She definitely "owned" us from the first day she came home to us. Tarah's diligence in maintaining the health and temperament in the breeding of Bernedoodles helped us feel very comfortable in our decision. She provides all health records of parentage for her puppies. I highly recommend Country Creek Doodles and Tarah.

Tarah has been amazing to work with through the two additions to our family. Our Bernedoodle are loving and the sweetest additions to our family. Both Rori and Rubi bring so much fun and enjoyment into our lives. Tarah has provided us with so much insight regarding the temperament and nature of our free family members. You simply can’t ask for a better breeder.
