I'm Johanna M., the breeder behind Country Rose Australian Shepherds located in Yelm, WA. It is our goal to produce adorable, affectionate Aussie puppies that are healthy, well-tempered, and make wonderful companions. Our dogs are our companions in every adventure! We decided to start breeding as a way to help other families experience the love and companionship of a dog.

Why did you start breeding?
My mother started our breeding program in 2006 when she got our first breeding pair, we have since grown from there and I run most of the puppy business with her help. Our first breeding pair lived to be 16 & 17 years old!What makes your program special?
It is a family run program and our dogs are our pets. We have two homes on 5 acres so everyone gets the love and attention they deserve. My experience as a vet tech adds an extra layer of security and health to the puppies through the breeding, birth and raising processWhat are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Johanna
Johanna has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $300 deposit and between $500 - $1,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“All puppies come with a current vet exam, regular de-worming and age appropriate vaccines. They come with a puppy pack to get you started. Non refundable unless something happens to the puppy in our care- more in deposit contract.”

Johanna may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Jack is a standard black tri, AKC and ASCA registered. He is so friendly and playful, but loves his lazy time in the house. Low drive. He is as loyal as they come, loves kids, cats and treats! His sire is a ASCA champion in conformation. He has a perfect build and produces offspring suitable for show.

DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
