I'm Janine B., the breeder behind Cove Run Kennels located in Lockwood, NY. Our dogs excel both in and out of the show ring. They are excellent representations of the breed and have wonderful temperaments. We breed in order to preserve the wonderful attributes we found in our dogs. Because of our dedication to both the health and quality of the breed, it's our goal to pass these traits down to future generations.

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Janine

Janine has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Janine partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $700 non-refundable deposit and between $900 - $2,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This puppy will have all health exams done including vet checks and eye examinations. Parents are all health tested. Puppy will also be up to date on vaccinations and deworming. 700 will reserve a puppy. This can be used for current litter or a future litter.”

Contract & health guarantee

Janine may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Dermatomyositis, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
