Meet the breeder

I'm Jessica, the breeder behind Cowtown Corgis & Border Collies located in Okeechobee, FL. Our mission is to raise healthy, intelligent Corgis and Border Collies with strong working drives, sound temperaments, and loving natures. Through early, thoughtful socialization, we prepare each puppy to thrive as a devoted companion, sport partner, or working dog.

Q. & A. with Jessica

  • Why did you start breeding?

I fell in love with the intelligence, heart, and drive of these breeds and wanted to share that with others. Breeding became a way to contribute to their future — producing dogs who are both capable and deeply loved.
  • What makes your program special?

What sets my program apart is the care and intention behind every decision. From health testing and structure to early socialization and training, each puppy is raised with purpose. My goal is to produce confident, well-adjusted dogs who excel as both companions and working partners.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our Border Collie puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Border Collie puppies include tri-color, slate merle, lilac merle, blue merle, red merle, black, blue, lilac, red, white and blue, white and blue merle, white and red, white and red merle, white ticked, and slate. Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies include fawn, red, sable, white and black, white and red, black and tan, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

We couldn’t be happier with our new border collie pup, Millie, and our experience with Jessica was perfect from start to finish. She was extremely knowledgeable, caring, and professional throughout the entire process. We could see Jessica’s love and dedication to her puppies in every detail! Our little Millie is perfect in every way too. She is an absolute gem and has the best little personality! Cowtown was wonderful to work with. She took time for a long conversation to answer all my questions. We are in love with our corgi and would definitely recommend Cowtown to anyone looking for a corgi.

We had a fantastic experience with Cowtown! From the very first interaction, they were professional, responsive, and clearly passionate about their dogs. Our puppy is an absolute joy! Very healthy, well adjusted, and incredibly social. You can tell they put a lot of care into early socialization and breeding for temperament. Our little one has the sweetest demeanor and settled into our home so easily. We couldn’t be happier and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a new furry family member 🩷

Jessica was amazing and very interactive. She updated us weekly on Bo's progress and sent pics/vids to let us stay connected until we could bring him home. She also walked us through every step of the process. The whole experience was incredible, other than the wait of course :-) Thank you Jessica. We Love our boy!!

We had our best first experience on Good Dog when working with Cowtown. We were looking for a Border Collie for a while before finding our pup. Cowtown was professional, amazing to work with, and very helpful even though we were unfamiliar with the website. We got many updates of our pup prior to picking him up. We love our pup and he is already an amazing part of our family. He is so smart, loving, and energetic and we couldn’t be happier! Amazing experience and we are so thankful for our new best friend! ❤️

We did identify Cowtown as a Border Collie Breeder initially through Good Dog and selected our intended puppy from pictures and videos on line. Cowtown has been great and our new Border Collie Puppy was handed off to us on schedule and as planned. Lola has now been with us for about a week, is energetic, enthusiastic and always willing to learn. She is gregarious and seems to smile and love everyone she meets. She is fitting in well with us and our routines.
