I'm Traci P., the breeder behind Craven’s Creakin’ Cedars Company located in Concord, NC. All our dogs and puppies are family primarily kept indoors members first and foremost. They are true ‘farm dogs’ in a sense that they have horses, miniature ponies and chickens to herd. Tractors and atvs are no stranger to them either. With 60 acres of pasture and woods to room with supervision and a doggy door with a fenced backyard to come and go as they please…they do not know what a kennel is! We are passionate, responsible breeders who truly love our dogs and what we do. We raise adorable, affectionate, the most versatile puppies, and give them the best possible start for a life of companionship and love! We prepare all of our pups to excel in life and our pups are always welcome to come back to the farm for play dates, visits or even short term vacation boarding for our local pet owners.
Q. & A. with Traci
Why did you start breeding?
I fostered my first rescue mini Aussie while undergoing treatment for Cancer. He and I became so well bonded and although his prior home was not a good match he taught me what a true Velcro dog is! I think everyone should have one just like him!
My puppies’ health and wellbeing are my main priorities. I devote my time, energy, and efforts to each litter to ensure our puppies are properly socialized from the moment they are born and prepared to excel in their forever homes.
What makes your program special?
We are a small, in-home hobby breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of these wonderful breeds with other individuals and families! We have high expectations for our puppies and make sure to place each one in an enriching and loving home that will match their temperament and personality. We love what we do and truly want the very best for our puppies and their forever families.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle, black tri, red tri, and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
