I'm Lisa D., the breeder behind Creekside Doodles located in Mapleton, IL. We are experienced, reputable that take great pride in our dogs, our puppies, and our program. When we bring a life into the world, we take that responsibility seriously and do everything we can to make sure it gets the best start possible. Additionally, any pup or dog from our program is a part of our pack for life, and we will always have a home for them here if they need it.

Why did you start breeding?
I have been raising dogs since I was 12 years old. My parents raised Siberian Huskies and gifted me my first one when I was around 10 years old. I have been hooked ever since and have spent years raising, training and competing with my dogs. We began raising doodles 11 years ago as they are the perfect blend of working ability and allergy friendliness.
What makes your program special?
We pride ourselves on raising dogs with exceptional health and temperament who will excel as family companions, service and therapy prospects and even as hunting or sporting dogs.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Aussiedoodle puppies are standard size. Bordoodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Aussiedoodle puppies include red merle, black and white, and black tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Lisa has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

About Maggie
Maggie is a chocolate merle border collie from herding lines. She was born on a cattle ranch in Texas but didn't quite make the cut as a herding dog.. she's too laid back. She is a sweet, gentle girl who is eager to please and is a wonderful mama.

Dobby is our sable particolor poodle stud. He weighs around 55 pounds and has a calm, gentle demeanor. Dobby is clear for genetic diease and received a score of Good on his OFA hip xrays. He's a favorite here at Creekside and with other breeders for his great personality and the wide variety of color traits he carries.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
