Cribstone Labradors

Colette S.

Breeder of Labrador Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Colette S., the breeder behind Cribstone Labradors located in Brunswick, ME. I produce pups that will continue to excel in their chosen field, whether that be working, showing, or as an active companion. I breed healthy, beautiful puppies. I take my job seriously, knowing that my puppies will become someone's beloved pet. Each puppy is considered a member of my family, and I ensure they are socialized, healthy, and prepared to excel in their forever homes.

Q. & A. with Colette

  • Why did you start breeding?

In the 1970's, I had a rescue dog that was a Labrador Retriever. Years later, even after having another rescue that was a Springer mix, I knew that Labs were it for me. I love the breed, and I learned everything I possibly could so that I would be prepared to become a responsible breeder. It has been an honor working with these incredible dogs for all these years.
  • What makes your program special?

I only breed every few years so that I can give each litter and puppy the attention and care they deserve. I take pride in raising well-tempered and socialized puppies who can excel in work, rally, obedience, and as beloved companions.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
